We welcome your application to the Kiwanis Club of Duluth Service Fund for financial support. Each year our Club raises money through special projects such as a Charity golf Tournament in the spring and a Pancake Breakfast in the fall. We invest the net proceeds of these events back into the Duluth community in support of worthy projects primarily related to local children, youth, or community.
The Service Fund is managed by a Giving Committee and recommendations are made to the Board of Directors for disbursements based on the following grant criteria: Key emphasis of the organization applying for assistance must be on children or community-related activities.
Grants will be awarded only for programs and specific projects, not for the operating expenses of the organization that is making the application.
Individual grants will vary based on need as determined by the Board of Directors of the Kiwanis Club of Duluth.
All applications will be reviewed and considered by the Giving Committee and forwarded to the Board of Directors, with recommendation, for final decision.
The organization that is making application MUST be a registered 501-C3 or C4 Non-Profit, and be based in Georgia.
To be considered for a grant from the Kiwanis Club of Duluth Service Fund, first download the Grant Application (which is an Adobe PDF). Next, complete your application and send your application by mail to:
